Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility
- Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- MSPT or DPT
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Strong knowledge in outpatient physical therapy
- Orthopedic aftercare knowledge is a plus
